Isaac Viñales will race with the MIR Moto3 chassis in Valencia

Moto3 World Championship rider Isaac Viñales has decided to take a change of direction and include the new MIR Racing chassis on his bike, leaving FTR behind, with which he never had a good feeling.

During the Motorcycle World Grand Prix at Phillip Island Circuit, rumours of a possible chassis change for Moto3 rider Isaac Viñales grew, but it has now been confirmed that the Catalan will use the MIR at the final round of the 2012 Moto3 World Championship season at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste.

So a great piece of news for our own manufacturing, following the news about Inmotec-Corti, and now about Isaac Viñales and the MIR Racing chassis, these are undoubtedly two combinations that will deliver good results and will keep improving step by step. All the components of this chassis are built in Cheste and other nearby towns in the Valencia region.

It will be very interesting to see him in this position following the decision agreed by the rider and the CBC Corse team, so they leave FTR-Honda behind, with which the young Catalan rider also never felt very comfortable. They are now testing various options for the 2013 season, and one of those possibilities is the chassis from Julián Miralles, created by a team formed by Emilio Más, Joaquín Feliu, Luis Miralles and Antonio Granell.

For Viñales we have a new rebirth: we have had a few races in which he is achieving great results and running with the front-runners.

Statements from Isaac Viñales:

It has been a very complicated year, because injuries prevented us from working with the bike since pre-season like the other riders. In any case, I have never felt comfortable with the FTR chassis and I had many problems making the bike turn the way I like. I have already ridden other Julián bikes and I always went very fast on them. I feel very comfortable with his bikes and with his team.

Changes at the last minute.
