Andrea Iannone, Moto2 rider, very happy with the tests introduced in the bike's setup for Motorland.

This weekend the MotoGP circus arrives at the penultimate European round of the 2011 season.

Only one session could be held on Friday due to an electrical problem at the circuit. The Speed Master team achieved third place in that session, with Andrea being the fastest Italian rider.

Throughout the entire session, the team together with rider Iannone tested different new parts for the Suter MMXI (2011). In the second practice, the one that could not be carried out, the team was going to try to confirm the results of the work done on the bike’s setup for the race.

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s third session, FP3, an additional 30 minutes will be added.

Andrea Iannone (#29) (3rd 1:55.160)

The morning session was very important: we were testing different parts of the bike, as well as some ideas the team had brought prepared for this GP. I must admit that I am very satisfied with the tests we carried out and with the direction we are taking in our development work.

I was eager to get back on track for the afternoon session, as we wanted to understand whether we were moving in the right direction to improve or whether we would have to reconsider some changes, but unfortunately the session was cancelled.

Despite everything, I am very happy. We are improving race after race, and I am sure we will turn the weekend into something positive.

I want to thank the whole team, Suter, and all the people who support me and are fans.
