The brand Givi presents its modular X.09 as the evolved version of the X.08. This new model exceeds the expectations of the most demanding riders, since it offers considerable advances over its predecessor, something that seemed difficult given the sales success of that model in the Spanish market.

The new GIVI X.09, which has dual certification as both jet and full-face, represents a further step up from current segment standards and stands out for its functionality and design. In the blink of an eye it can be turned into a jet helmet by easily removing the chin piece and fitting side panels made of carbon-look material in its place.

As if the utility of having two helmets in one were not enough, the X.09 offers solutions for the rider that place it at the head of its class. Among the most notable in this regard are its retractable sun visor integrated into the helmet (easy to operate even with gloves) and the various accessories included as standard, such as the removable nose cover and chin cover, or the thicker side pads for a better fit for each person. This last element shows the attention to detail with which GIVI also works on rider comfort.

In this regard, the X.09 features a more aerodynamic shell, equipped with wider upper air intakes and two exhaust vents at the rear that ensure a more than adequate airflow. Its comfort is also enhanced, as is now standard, by its removable and hypoallergenic interior and pads. As part of its evolution, GIVI has incorporated into the X.09 elements that further increase the level of safety it offers the rider. This helmet has a scratch-resistant visor, which offers a field of vision far superior to others in its segment. In addition, to prevent the visor from fogging, the Italian company has prepared it for the optional installation of the Pinlock anti-fog system.

To these qualities are added a micrometric buckle and a safety system that prevents the chin piece from closing accidentally when the helmet is worn open. With this mechanism GIVI demonstrates its continued commitment to safety, as the Brescia factory has anticipated its time by incorporating an element that should be considered standard for all modular helmets in the not too distant future.

The X.09 is available for 220.46 euros (VAT included) in sizes from XS to XS, in 3 different colours: white, dark grey (gun metal) and black.
