Giovanni Sala will be the director of the Coma Dakar team

Rider Marc Coma has everything ready for the 2011 Dakar, which will soon start in South America. He is also doing so alongside Giovanni Sala, who will direct the Catalan’s team in the next edition of the toughest rally raid in the world.

So Sala has become the director of Coma’s team, putting the rumors aside and making it crystal clear that he would be in charge of his team in this edition, in which they will fight to recover the Dakar crown. Furthermore, the two have known each other very well from previous seasons together in the rally.

In addition, the Italian has great experience as a rider, with 5 Enduro World Championships, 4 World Rally Raid Championships and two Dakars. Therefore, his experience will once again give great strength to our Dakar champion, and will surely be a great support for the Catalan.

Coma’s wingman this season will be Joan Pedrero, the best Spanish motorcycle rider from the last edition, so he has everything in his favor to fight for the 2011 title.
