Debón won't replace Locatelli for now

The Italian rider, Roberto Locatelli, will take quite a while to return to competition after suffering a serious accident during practice for the GP of Jerez.

This led many fans and professionals to think that Debón, Aprilia test rider, could once again ride on the asphalt in top-level competition on the circuits as a replacement for Locatelli, but it seems that this, which was believed to be very possible, is not going to happen.

The rider himself has denied that he will replace Roberto Locatelli, at least in the next two races, neither in Turkey nor in China. Although he does not rule out that in the European circuits this situation will indeed take place, placing himself in the hands of the Metis Gilera team.
