Day 1 of CEV test at Motorland Aragón circuit
CEV riders and teams are enjoying a test ahead of next week's championship round at Motorland Aragón.
Many of the riders and teams of the Spanish Speed Championship are at the Motorland Aragón Circuit carrying out the pre-tests ahead of next week’s national round, so the action is well underway in Alcañiz, although it has been a complex day due to the high temperatures and the wind, both of which have been key factors at the start of testing, making riding difficult and leaving the track slow.
Although there is no exact list of those present at these sessions, we can mention that the Team Motorrad guys, Román Ramos, Xavi Forés, Albert Arenas and Berto López are working there; also Quique Ferrer with his Ducati Panigale; Juanfran Guevara, Suzuki Speed Racing and Team Laglisse among others.

It hasn’t been a good day either for Albert Arenas. The Team Motorrad Moto3 rider had to hang up his suit at midday due to problems with the bike, but surely they already have everything fixed for today. Moreover, we have been able to see photos of the #11 that are spectacular on this first training day at Motorland. Meanwhile, Xavi Forés, Román Ramos and Berto López have worked normally, getting their machines ready for the following week.
For their part, the riders of H43 Team Nobbu Talasur have not had a calm start to the test either, as both riders in the Moto2 category have crashed. There were no major consequences, but it seems the bikes have been quite damaged. Meanwhile, the Moto3 riders have been luckier; they are progressing step by step and are expected to reach positive conclusions.
Team Suzuki Speed Racing was also present on this first day, with its rider Adrián Bonastre, who has had many problems with his Suzuki GSX-R 1000, though fortunately they managed to solve them by the end of the day. For his part, Javi del Amor has worked normally, looking for the best setup and testing tyres for the race.
Statements from Javi del Amor:
It has been a good day’s work. The team has made the bike faster; with better track conditions for the race, we will be on the pace.
More action at Motorland Aragón today.
