The rider Carmelo Morales, one of the benchmarks of our Spanish Speedway Championship in the Stock Extreme category, has suffered a crash while training to prepare for what will be the 2014 season of the national speedway series, and has been injured.
Over these past few days Morales had been trying out a discipline that has more and more followers every day, dirt track, but unfortunately the session did not end well last week and he suffered an unlucky crash, which ended with a broken collarbone.
Undoubtedly bad luck for the national runner-up in Stock Extreme, although luckily after the crash he put himself in the hands of Doctor Xavier Mir, a true specialist in this type of injury and after the operation everything seems to be going in the most appropriate way, so the intervention was a success and now all that remains is to regain his physical form and see how the injury evolves over the coming weeks.
Bad luck for Carmelo with this fall, but he should be able to recover in time to continue with the unofficial training once the winter training ban ends. So, a bad fall, but without serious physical consequences or consequences for his results.
Time to get up and keep fighting. Moreover, in 2014 the CEV will undergo many changes, and it will be necessary to be prepared for what the FIM has planned for our national speedway series, which is now already international.
Best wishes to Morales in his recovery.
