Camier and Kiyonari will be with HRC's official team in the 2019 SBK World Championship
Leon Camier and Ryuichi Kiyonari will be official HRC team riders in Superbikes

HRC has confirmed that it will return to the Superbike World Championship with factory material, so the Japanese brand has news for the 2019 SBK Championship, and it announced this at EICMA. It will not be alone, as it will do so together with Althea and Moriwaki.
The riders chosen to defend the team’s colours will be Leon Camier and Ryuichi Kiyonari, with a clear goal: a new beginning in this Championship, since HRC will give the team its full backing and support, and they will have the spectacular Fireblade CBR1000RR SP2 at their disposal.
Camier will continue with the bike for a second consecutive season, so the British rider is ready to face a new challenge with the same mount. Meanwhile, 2019 will mark the return of a legend, as Japan’s Ryuichi Kiyonari returns to the Superbike World Championship, something he has not done since 2009.
Kiyonari’s statements:
First, I’m a little surprised that HRC called me. It’s been 10 years since I rode in SBK, and I’m very happy to join this great project. I have two years of experience in WorldSBK, and in 2008 and 2009 I was very competitive. It’s not easy to finish among the top six, but we have a good bike and a good team.
An interesting team for the official Honda team.
